Rescue Me' is the first book in a three-book series. Although, like all my series, the books are purposely written so that readers do not have to read them in order.

I want to try with someone who loves me enough to try with me. I want to grow old looking at the same face every morning. I want to grow old looking at the same face every night at the dinner table. I want to be one of those old couples you see still holding hands and laughing after fifty years of marriage. That's what I want. I want to be someone's forever.

I didn't choose to write a military man as much as Vince Haven chose me.

Sometimes you have to wander around until you find where you really belong. And sometimes it's right where you started.

The two things I enjoy the most about writing are the first page of a book and the last. What's in between is very hard work.

The only problem with one-man woman was that he was not a one-woman man.

I write romance because I love to read romance.
