I know some people say that high fashion should not be worn at synagogue. I, on the other hand, think that it is of the utmost importance that the Goldbergs from down the street see you in the new Chanel Fall 2010 Yom Kippur line.

I always say that I don't like it when people follow trends too much, just because it is on the runway. I think what you wear really does need to reflect what your own personal style is.

I think when you're really stressed out and can't really face reality... you shop.

When you look like you stepped out of a catalog, that's never good. People shouldn't succumb to trend, they should interpret trend.

What happens style wise behind closed doors, in your home, shouldn't be incidental. Home isn't just where you stow your things or sack out for the night. It should be your private escape.

You want to look great under your clothes and obviously without clothes.

I love Fall Fashion Week because it means lots of layering, long sweaters and vintage coats.
