The instinct of the people is right.

Teaching is the perpetual end and office of all things. Teaching, instruction is the main design that shines through the sky and earth.

Do not be caught by the sensational in nature, as a coarse red-faced sunset, a garrulous waterfall, or a fifteen thousand foot mountain... avoid prettiness - the word looks much like pettiness - and there is but little difference between them.

Genius is saying what is in your heart, because it's in everyone's heart.

Let us replace sentimentalism by realism and dare to uncover those simple and terrible laws which, be they seen or unseen, pervade and govern.

But we need not fear that we can lose any thing by the progress of the soul. The soul may be trusted to the end.

Knowledge is the antidote to fear. [especially as fear often stands for false evidence appearing real!]
