The best of life is conversation, and the greatest success is confidence, or perfect understanding between sincere people.

The Transcendentalist adopts the whole connection of spiritual doctrine. He believes in miracle, in the perpetual openness of thehuman mind to new influx of light and power; he believes in inspiration, and in ecstacy.

Profound sincerity is the only basis of talent as of character.

As to methods, there may be a million and then some, but principles are few. The man who grasps principles can successfully select his own methods.
