Our legislative victory - an end to earmarks.

I think if Russia is really an honest signatory to the chemical weapons ban, if Syria wants to be, ultimately someone has to be responsible for killing civilians. And that's the hard part out of this.

We all either work for rich people or we sell stuff to rich people, so just punishing rich people is as bad for the economy as punishing anyone. Let's not punish anyone.

We don't need bigger government. We need to shrink the size of government.

The First Amendment says keep government out of religion. It doesn't say keep religion out of government.

Because Republicans believe that the federal government is limited in its function-some have concluded that Republicans are somehow inherently insensitive to minority rights. Nothing could be further from the truth.

If you hear me out, I believe you'll discover that what motivates me more than any other issue is the defense of everyone's rights.
