My goal right now is to actually help Donald Trump. He's the Republican president. He's doing a lot of things that conservatives are for. I'm for. And so my goal is to help Kentucky by repealing regulations that are killing our coal industry. And I think on that, we're very much aligned.

Secretary [John] Kerry has called Civil War [in Syria] an unbelievably small war that we're going to get involved with.

The idea of foreign policy realism, I think, fits more neatly with President Trump. And with John McCain, the neoconservative label of let's make the world safe for democracy and we're going to topple every regime hasn't worked.

Republicans who criticize the use of two languages, I think, make a great mistake.

American inventiveness and the desire to build developed because we were guaranteed the right to own our success.
