There is always something new to learn. There is always something new that I am learning and I wanna share it with the world.

Everybody takes breaks, and I decided to take mine. I wanted a chance to wake up at two in the afternoon and not be a subject of entertainment. I wanted to be a human being. At certain times and certain years, I felt like the Energizer bunny. That gets old very quickly.

Singing is just another outlet to express what I feel and to show everyone who I really am. I really don't talk about my personal life that much in interviews because that's my life, but with music, the way I write explains who I am.

Forgive yourself and forgive others around you.

He's a very funny and very nice man. When you read the script, you want to stick with it. But when you're with Eddie Murphy you've got to improvise. He's always making jokes and making me crack up when the camera's on.

Don't spend all of your time trying to be like someone else because you can never be them and they can never be you.

Knowing that I make somebody's day better is all that matters at the end of the day.
