I'm a prideful person when it comes to competition.

There's no "I" on the football field. We have a total commitment to each other when we're out there. There is no doubt. It doesn't matter. The wins and losses of the game don't resonate with us. What resonates with us is "how much effort would you give for the man next to you."

We're in a tough place in this world. There are a lot of kids giving up very early. Scripture says it takes a village to raise one child, and that's what these coaches are going to have to go back and understand.

There's one secret to hitting hard, and that is to completely dedicate your body. That's the difference between a man going forward and a man going backward, no matter how big he is.

To come into camp and have my defensive coordinator say you won't be touched, I feel like a kid all over again.

Once again, God to all glory, because I didnt feel one thing. I didnt hurt it one time. I actually argued with my equipment staff to take it off half way through the game, because I thought I didnt need it. I was trying to tell them it was stopping me from extending, but you know what, Ive always trusted them with their advice. It was kind of important to keep it on, and for me to come out and not have a bruise, not tweak it, not do anything like that, is just really awesome.

Man believes in the possible, but God believes in the impossible.
