I have a lot to be thankful for. I am healthy, happy and I am loved.

It really has lifted my spirits. It's intensified my faith, given me more hope. That's what music does for me.

You've got to stay current and up with the competition. The main thing, though, is finding the greatest songs you can possibly find.

I just feel like the people who are discouraged about religion, it's [really] the connotation of people that go to church. People that go to church love the Lord and they like to be around people who love the Lord. It's a fellowship and it's a growth and it's a feeding for them that when they're in a social group of people who believe, it makes them grow spiritually.

My mama is my best friend. We have fun, we can talk about anything, she always is on my side but really quick to tell me when I'm wrong. That's a true friend. She's loyal, smart, witty and intelligent. She loves family and loves to travel. All the things I love!

When onstage, I always try to take my audience through as many emotions as I possibly can. I want them to go from laughter to tears, be shocked and surprised and walk out the door with a renewed sense of themselves - and maybe a smile.

Thou shalt not whine' should be the eleventh commandment.
