Everyone should unconditionally accept that Israel is an indispensable element of the Middle Eastern mosaic.

If nuclear energy is used for the sake of humanity, then I say yes. But if it is used destructively, then no.

Turkey's path toward Europe started back in 1959, almost 50 years ago. But we have been pushed to the side ever since. Despite all the hurdles we will not deviate from our course towards Europe –- even by one step.

I am saying yes to criticism, but no to insults.

Similarly, it is argued that the culture of Islam is incompatible with democracy. Basically, this conventional perspective of the Middle East thus contends that democracy in that region is neither possible nor even desirable

However, democracy cannot be defined as the existence of parliaments and elections alone.

If the people allow something to happen, it's the right thing.
