I believe the Republican Party is the party of the open door. Our party is the party of opportunity and freedom and equality, and it always will remain such.

It doesn't mean we're not going to be tough across the world, it doesn't mean that we're not going to always put America first in everything we do. But we have big problems in this world. And I don't think we can solve these big problems by making believe that people don't exist. They exist. We have to talk to people.

I think the president-elect [Donald trump] also supports anything we can do to put an end to these sorts of incidents from taking place in our country.

To distract from the president's disappointing record, Team Obama has decided to base their entire campaign on attacking the private sector and Mitt Romney's career as a successful businessman.

[Ronald] Reagan talked to people across the world and he was very successful in communicating and treating people with dignity and respect, but putting America first in every single we do.

I think people should be encouraged that there are so many people in the press that want to participate.

We started thinking if we can have more people involved instead of less people involved, wouldn't that be a good thing?
