The protesters, in Jerusalem and in Tel Aviv, revealed an open and raw wound at the heart of Israeli society, the pain of a community crying out over a sense of discrimination, racism, and of being unanswered.

Itโs the Orthodox versus those who donโt think they can keep all six hundred and thirteen commandments of the Bible. Itโs rich people versus poor people. At some point, something came over Israel so that everyone has his own ideasโand everyone else is an enemy. Itโs a dialogue among deaf people and it is getting more and more serious.
