Well actually I don't think it's a bunch of bad things that send us to hell. I think it is rejection of God's grace.

Doing the easy thing makes you popular. Doing the hard thing makes you a leader.

Now God has never shouted out to me. I've never heard God speak audibly. He doesn't have to.

People are interested by talent. God is impressed by character

You may have done some really nifty things in life, but if you think they're going to get you into Heaven, forget it. The only way any of us are going to get in is by receiving God's gift of grace, which is available to every person.

I do not believe God is responsible for my sins, some people may. But I believe that my own weaknesses are father-filtered and just as much as God touched Jacob's hip and he walked with a limb the rest of his life, that I have certain emotional weaknesses that are there to keep me dependent on God.

A father, finding time for what is most important is the true marker of a successful person.
