I added up all the money the church paid me for the first 25 years and gave it all back.

If not to God, you will surrender to the opinions or expectations of others, to money, to resentment, to fear, or to your own pride, lusts, or ego. You were designed to worship God and if you fail to worship Him, you will create other things (idols) to give your life to. You are free to choose, what you surrender to but you are not free from the consequence of that choice.

Experience is not what happens to you. It is what you do with what happens to you. Don’t waste your pain; use it to help others.

Regardless of the cause, none of your problems could happen without God's permission.

I think we live in a pluralistic society where we have to get along with each other and show common grace to each other.

Servants think of ministry as an opportunity, not an obligation. They enjoy helping people, meeting needs, and doing ministry.

Now God has never shouted out to me. I've never heard God speak audibly. He doesn't have to.
