Only in hindsight do we understand how God intended a problem for good.

HALF of America pays NO taxes. Zero. So they're happy for tax rates to be raised on the other half that DOES pay any taxes.

In our competitive world we're taught to never quit trying, never give up, and never give in - so we don't hear much about surrendering. If winning is everything, surrendering is unthinkable. Even Christians would rather talk about winning, succeeding, overcoming, and conquering than yielding, submitting, obeying, and surrendering. But surrendering to God is the heart of worship.

I want to change my circumstances. God wants to change me.

The heart of the issue is an issue of the heart. And that's why I'm a pastor, not a politician. Because I think only - only God can change hearts. And only God can take the evil out. I don't think you can legislate the evil out of people.

We're going to fellowship in eternity. We know that because that's all who's going to be there - is believers. What does God want us to do here? Practice - learning how to love, learning how to fellowship here.

Irrelevance happens when the speed of change outside an organization is greater than speed of change inside an organization.
