The church must always show compassion, always.

Our culture has accepted two huge lies. The first is that if you disagree with someone’s lifestyle, you must fear or hate them. The second is that to love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are nonsense. You don’t have to compromise convictions to be compassionate.

Most of the time, it's your thinking, not your talent, that holds you back.

If you don't live by priorities, you'll live by pressures. Either you determine what's important in life or other people will determine it for you.

Since God intends to make you like Jesus, he will take you through the same experiences Jesus went through. That includes loneliness, temptation, stress, criticism, rejection, and many other problems.

I know that I am floating on the benefit of other people. I do not deserve the blessings that I've gotten.

Real life begins by committing yourself completely to Jesus Christ.
