I rarely write by myself.

Never lose perspective on where you are and what you've got. And how you got it.

I love people. I love being in a band. I love making music. I had to figure out that was way more important than being addicted.

I do my best; I put out things I believe in and if you don't like it then pass on to something else.

Metal musicians say dumb things sometimes.

All I've got on my iPod is every single Queen song and every single Judas Priest song. Queen were an incredible heavy metal band. I saw them on their first ever tour, at Birmingham Town Hall. They just blew me away.

You gotta have fun. Even now we have fun onstage.
