No God can put a man in hell in another world, who has made a little heaven in this. God cannot make a man miserable if that man has made somebody else happy.

Prayer is of no avail. The lightning falls on the just and the unjust in accordance with natural laws.

If we should put god in the Constitution there would be no room left for man.

Catholicism is contrary to human liberty. Catholicism bases salvation upon belief. Catholicism teaches man to trample his reason under foot. And for that reason it is wrong.

Our hope of immortality does not come from any religions, but nearly all religions come from that hope.
