If you had seen me back in high school, there's no way you would have ever said I would become an author or teacher because I was a horrible student.

We live in a global community and we can't really remain isolated. I believe that when we hold a very narrow view about our attitudes of politics or culture or religion, then we cut out the opportunity to really engage with other points of view.

Opportunities are all around you, you just need to be able to see them.

Retarget your money. When your money comes in, you need to have already targeted where you are going to invest or doodad temptation will set in.

I'm excited about silver because as I write, it's relatively inexpensive. I'm also excited about silver because -- unlike real estate, which can require a lot of money, some finance skills, lots of due diligence and property management skills to do well -- silver is affordable to the masses, and management skills are minimum.

It does not take money to make money.
