With Eclipse, I felt like I was doing a completely different movie and a completely different character. So, yeah, it was nice and challenging.
Robert PattinsonI guess I had to learn how to run properly. I spent a lot of time on a giant treadmill, like one of those wheels mice run around on, and got filmed doing it to improve my form.
Robert PattinsonI don't really see the point in washing your hair. If you don't care if your hair's clean or not then why would you wash it?
Robert PattinsonIt's easy to get stagnate, if you play the same character. In New Moon, I felt like I was going a little bit deeper.
Robert PattinsonI was quite intimidated by Ralph Fiennes. I didn't really talk to him while I was doing Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and the only thing I did with him was when he stepped on my head. Then I went to this play and he was there. And this girl said, โyou've worked with Ralph Fiennes haven't you, Robert?โ and I was like, โwell, no...โ and Ralph said, โyes, I stepped on your head.โ And that was the extent of our conversation.
Robert PattinsonIt's funny what you really see when you're the subject of the completely bizarre gossip magazine industry. It's just like, 'WHAT?!?' All this stuff with Emilie [de Ravin, his costar in Remember Me] as well. The tabloids say stuff like 'They went on a date to an Indian restaurant.' We were doing a scene! There's a film crew there!
