Politics is, for me, forgive and -as you may have heard- sometimes forget.

Almost all the worlds' constitutions are documents in which governments tell the people what their privileges are. Our Constitution is a document in which We the People tell the government what it is allowed to do. We the People are free.

Our goals are the same as those of the U.N.'s founders, who sought to replace a world at war with one where the rule of law would prevail, where human rights were honored, where development would blossom, where conflict would give way to freedom from violence.

If history teaches us anything, it teaches that simple-minded appeasement or wishful thinking about our adversaries is folly.

Self-defense is not only our right; it is our duty.

If not us, who? And if not now, when?

The greatest security for Israel is to create new Egypts.
