I've been blessed because there are a lot of great singers out there that didn't make it past their first album.

I am comfortable with anything I sing: jazz, gospel, classical. It doesn't matter. I can do it all.

People don't have to like or support you. So you always have to say thank you.

I mean I've always been a big dude.

You can be confident and secure and know that you do a good job at what you do. But you don't know to be arrogant about it.

I feel like I have been totally blessed with everything that I have done.

I feel as if I've been able to do so many things I never expected to do.
