I don’t know why; when I look at you, I see myself

When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.

Nightingales are put in cages because their songs give pleasure. Whoever heard of keeping a crow?

This phantom world gave you false signs But you turned from the illusion and journeyed to the land of truth.

If you have not learned to be a passionate lover, do not count your life as lived. On the day of reckoning, it will not be counted.

The quieter we become, the more we can hear.

This is how it always is when I finish a poem. A great silence overcomes me and I wonder why I ever thought to use language.
