Bob Torricelli, Democrat member of the Senate, was basically about to be thrown out of office on corruption charges, and he went to the floor of the Senate to deny everything. And we juxtaposed his denials with an attorney from someone in an action against Torricelli who was listing all of the gifts and all the bribes that Torricelli had been given and offered in exchange for policy considerations on the Senate floor. So he's on the Senate floor denying it.
Rush LimbaughI thought, "What the hell happened with James Comey ? Who did this? I mean, the only people clamoring for this are the Democrats! What the hell?" My initial reaction was, "Why do the Democrats get what they want in every damn one of these things?" Then I had to stop and catch myself. It's not just the Democrats. This is the Washington establishment. As I looked at it, digested more, I started reading this universal love and admiration for Robert Mueller. And I started saying, "Everybody's happy with this! This is the most acceptable outcome there could have been".
Rush LimbaughThe executive orders. Barack Obama is doing it again with this ban that he thinks is in perpetuity on offshore drilling in the Atlantic Ocean and north of Alaska. It's bad what Obama's trying to do, and I know exactly what he is doing with this. But the first thing is, the areas that Obama has, by executive order, declared off-limits are areas nobody wants to drill in anyway. There are no plans to drill off the coast, the East Coast of the country out in the Atlantic, and there are no plans to drill north of Alaska in the Arctic Circle.
Rush LimbaughWe're talking tens of thousands, millions, nobody gives you that kind of money without an expectation for it. It has to be paid back somehow. You pay it back with policy.
Rush LimbaughSo Hillary [Clinton], "I do feel in some ways tired." And that's your leading Democrat presidential candidate for 2016. She's been tired for how many weeks now? Hillary has been tired for how many weeks so she can't go on and explain? It's been two and a half months, and she's been two tired to talk about Benghazi.
Rush LimbaughIf you're conservative, if you're Republican, I dare say that if you're over 50, you didn't think - you never thought - that what happened last November would be possible. You wouldn't think a Republican, I don't care who it is, could win the White House and that we would control the House and the Senate at the same time and have the Democrats' 2018 prospects be in the tank, which they are.
