The threat of a government shutdown has caused the Republicans and Donald Trump, as of now, to delay the funding for the wall until the fiscal year 2017-18 budget year, which will happen in September. This has the potential of bothering some Trump supporters. The word "federalism" you might think that means federalism trumps everything; federalism means federal domination. It does not mean that. It means the exact opposite, in fact. It means the states are sovereign and the federal government cannot tell 'em what to do in so many different ways.

The effort to combine the general population of this country with the current burgeoning numbers of illegal immigrants is outrageous, simply outrageous.
