You know, there were all kinds of calls when George W. Bush left office in 2009 for the left to investigate him. [Barack] Obama and Eric Holder were under pressure to investigate and prosecute Bush. I bet most people don't remember this, but it wasn't until June 30th, 2011, that Eric Holder announced that of the more than 100 cases the Justice Department had reviewed, that there would be no charges brought in any of them.
Rush LimbaughGreatness has nothing to do with diversity, skin color, race, ethnicity, nothing to do with it.
Rush LimbaughThis is the first time a newly inaugurated president has had any impact on a current budget." What that means is that normally when a president's inaugurated in January, the budget for the first calendar year of his term or the first nine months is already done. So from January 21st all the way 'til October when the new budget's done, the president has to deal with the previous Congress' budget and has nothing to say about it. What they're saying is that Donald Trump has had a record-breaking, never-before-seen thing by having an impact on the budget in his first year.
Rush LimbaughDonald Trump wins 2,623 counties and Hillary Clinton with 489. You know how many counties independents won? Zero. Just like they always have. Not one county. Independents did not win one county. The exception to that, 1992 when Ross Perot won 15. The independents don't win anything. That's why I've always - the precious independents and the moderates and so forth. So much bohunk out there.
Rush LimbaughBeing on my own was liberation, it was liberty, it was freedom, it was responsibility! It was the greatest thing in the world, getting old enough to be on my own. And today we have to deal with the fact that being on your own is so frightening and so scary and makes you feel so vulnerable. I wouldn't be where I am today if I had that attitude, if I had been afraid to be on my own.
Rush LimbaughPlanned Parenthood president Cecile Richards urged women to push the pro-abortion movement to the next level by publicly bragging about their own abortions, saying the next step is get rid of the 'stigma and shame' surrounding abortion. You mean they haven't done that yet? Abortion became legal in 1973.I thought they'd gotten rid of the "'stigma and shame' surrounding abortion" by converting pregnancy into an illness, which they've done. Pregnancy is an illness. It victimizes women.
Rush LimbaughThe American experiment, the United States in the past eight years [2008-2016] was not considered worthy of leading, because we had committed too many transgressions. We didn't have the moral authority to lead anybody because we had too many injustices in our past and too many discriminations and too many thises and thats and so forth. We were not worthy of leading, and we had been leading for too long in all the wrong directions. It was really, I think, despicable.
