The Republican Congress is like a groundhog afraid of its shadow when a government shutdown is talked about.

According to liberals, you can't joke, there's no lighthearted banter. One cannot engage in any kind of traditional stereotypical humor because leftists cannot laugh at themselves. As I say, there's not much laughter in liberalism anyway. And they have all of these politically correct barriers up here.

The left does not like self-reliance and individuality and the disparities in wealth and income that result. So the left has targeted capitalism forever on the pretext that it's unfair, that it's unequal, that it is mean-spirited, that it is white patriarchal Christianity - and all of these horrible, rotten things.
