Folks, let me ask you a question about that. You voted in 2010, 2014. You're part of the Tea Party and you show up and you just vote. Republicans said they needed the House, and you gave it to 'em; then they said they needed the Senate, and you gave it to 'em. Do you feel like winners even after those two elections? Probably not, because you really didn't think the Republican Party was going to change their stripes and start acting on all this.
Rush LimbaughI think it's always been an arrangement that had political objectives and goals, which is fine. Get married for whatever reason you want, as far as I'm concerned.
Rush LimbaughAll Trump has are the people that voted for him as a support group. He doesn't have the media. He doesn't have a community of think tanks and other intellectuals. Everybody in that group of people is a Never Trumper or an anti-Trumper or ambivalent. But Trump's base is all he's got, and they are still with him.
Rush LimbaughAlmost 40% of all young adults are living with their parents. This is a 75-year high in America. Forty percent of young adults are living with their parents. I see stuff like this, and I think it's a good thing I didn't become a parent, because if that were happening to me, you wouldn't want to be my kid.
Rush LimbaughI don't know if Trump was readily prepared for having an entire embedded bureaucracy trying to undermine him. But he's gonna be able to deal with it because he's faced these kinds of things in his life before. And I think that he is so committed to what he thinks will make this country great, so committed to the things he believes will reverse the fortunes of this country, no way is he going to be rendered depressed and despondent and give up the agenda. He's tougher than that. He's certainly more committed than that.
