What matters now, the only thing that matters right now is that whatever you think of the conservative movement and whoever you think is or isn't one, no matter who you think they are, they cannot unify around the concept of beating a Democrat. That's what you have to learn. If that's the movement you want to be part of, then you have at it.

We're all born pessimists. It takes effort to be optimistic.

We cannot meet 'em [Democrates] halfway. We can't cross the aisle. These people, I'm talking about the left wherever you find them, the Democrats, they have to be defeated.

It's very rare that you have a liberal run as an unabashed liberal. They have to lie about it. They have to mask who they are. And in order for them to survive and thrive, they have to keep that up.

America hasn't been leading anything. We have been blamed the last eight years [2008-2016]. The United States has been nothing special about us. American exceptionalism was mocked and laughed at.

America is far and away superior to every other place on earth, in terms of lifestyles, liberty, and freedom. In terms of the human condition, there's no place like it.

The Democrat Party can't provide, can't take care of, cannot provide prosperity for people.
