We're not enamored of Trump's braggadocio narcissism. We're not enamored of Trump's lifestyle. None of that. We're just fed up with current Washington leadership. It has failed and it needs to be turned upside down and emptied and re-shaken. And that's what the vast majority of Trump supporters actually believe.

If a corporation shuts down and leaves, liberals don't care. It gives them an enemy, it gives them a villain, they love to criticize them and it's got people in need, people out of work.

One of the defining characteristics or difference between today's illegal immigration and the immigration of old is the immigrants of the late 1800s through the early 1920s came here desiring to become Americans. They wanted to become part of what was a unique and distinct American culture. They were all coming from tyranny of one kind or another.

Health care is very complicated, and the government's had its tentacles woven deeply into this whole charade for over 50 years. But I don't understand why it's this hard that you can't do anything? It's the same thing as, "Well, Rush, you know, once an entitlement's been put into law, Rush, you can't take it away." Yes, you can! It's just you can't have elected people do it thinking they'll get reelected if they do it. But you can do it.

Senator McCain is all for John Kerry. Do you know they're buddies? McCain is in favor of Kerry being secretary of state. Somebody the other day suggested, maybe it was just today, a bipartisan compromise and nominate Colin Powell to be secretary of state again. What would be bipartisan about that? He's not a Republican.

I'm not opposed to the protection of animals. But the best way to do that is to make sure some human being owns them.

If you think that people today, like Hollywood, are ever gonna sing [Donald] Trump's praises, it's never gonna happen. It's only going to get worse. And they know it at the White House. They're not expecting these people to be won over. That's not why Trump's doing anything he's doing. They don't expect the establishment types to one day say, "You know what? You're right, Mr. Trump, this is great. We like what you're doing." It's never gonna happen. They don't expect that to happen.
