Even without voting, illegal aliens do affect who gets elected president, and that's since the Electoral College elects the president, and the states are given 80% of their electoral votes based on their population, whether they include illegals or not, is the assessment that that is how they affect elections.

I am interested in power, too, but power for you, the people, not power for bureaucrats and politicians and officeholders and all the like.

You'll also hear about the widening gap in the educated and the uneducated. The liberals will all say, "We must do something about it" and some in our population swoon, "Oh, yes, it's so unfair, and so unfortunate, and we've gotta do something about the inequality." So the Democrats then have their reason to do something about it, and the way they go about it is not trying to make people equal at all. The way they go about it is not even rooted in changing inequality, at the end of the day. The way they go about it is destructive for everybody.

The politics of grievance is pervasive. It's spreading. And when you have an economy that has been ripped to shreds like this, and when you have more and more people thinking that there's no economic opportunity - that the game is so rigged that the standard recipes of hard work and education, stick-to-itiveness and so forth don't pay off.

It doesn't matter what the FBI says. The New York Times is that big a bible for people on the left.
