The truth does not require a majority to prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The truth is its own power. The truth will out. Never forget that.

The media is news gatherers. Why in the world are the media a factor?

I'm aware of everything - it's my job - I keep up to speed, and I have a blessed memory. The brain chemistry I have is such that my memory is wonderful. And sometimes it's helpful, and other times it ends up being frustrating.

There's always been this implied promise - and it probably was stated somewhere - that Hillary Clinton was gonna be thanked.

We went 60 years or more with no immigration, folks. It can be done. The only reason that it started up again, Ted Kennedy started bellyaching about it in the mid-sixties, and then that led to Simpson-Mazzoli 20 years later, 1986, amnesty for about 3.9 million, and we were told that would be it, never again, and of course now we're where we are.

The idea that any president represents the world, by definition the United States must be diminished for that to happen.

Herein, folks, lies the answer of [Donald] Trump's success. In other words, the media covers things as stories that you would read about in a book or watch in a movie or a television show - and in this case, in the Republican primary, Trump was not the villain.
