You have to trust your government. Don't let every scar, every wart, every hiccup condemn the whole body.

We can pretend that China is not there. But China is there, and unless we put our economy on the right track, it is going to overwhelm us completely.

We are lucky to have Manmohan Singh as our Prime Minister. We could not have done without a person and leader of the choice as Manmohan Singh, who gets all international attention.

The administrative control of the government remains everywhere. You cant have a government within the country and not have control over everything thats happening in the country... Even in the Election Commission there is some extent of administrative control.

We should not underestimate the ability of people to do wrong if they want to do so.

We are not a country that subscribes to policing any part of the world. The areas we are comfortable with are capacity building, intelligence sharing, exchange of ships, call on each other's ports, joint training and exercises.

You can't reorder any society from outside. You can help from within.
