Despite what the pundits want us to think, contested primaries aren't civil war, they are democracy at work, and that's beautiful.

That's right. Obama didn't lie to you when he said, 'if you like your plan, you can keep it.' Why? Because, you sillies, you DIDN'T REALLY like the plan you chose for yourselves! No arguing. Barack Obama knows best, and he'll tell you whether you actually liked your insurance plan or not.

Don't retreat. Instead - reload!

I might add that in small towns, we don't quite know what to make of a candidate who lavishes praise on working people when they are listening, and then talks about how bitterly they cling to their religion and guns when those people aren't listening.

Easter time reminds us that we have every right to believe that this hope is based on time-tested truths and a solid foundation.

And I think more of a concern has been not within the campaign, the mistakes that were made, not being able to react to the circumstances that those mistakes created in a real positive and professional and helpful way for John McCain.

In America, we believe that competition strengthens us.
