The people don't elect U.S. presidents, God does.

I'm very, very pleased to be cleared of any legal wrongdoing, any hint of any kind of unethical activity there. Very pleased to be cleared of any of that.

America is looking for answers. She's looking for a new direction; the world is looking for a light. That light can come from America's great North Star; it can come from Alaska.

I might add that in small towns, we don't quite know what to make of a candidate who lavishes praise on working people when they are listening, and then talks about how bitterly they cling to their religion and guns when those people aren't listening.

We need a commander in chief not a professor of law standing at a lectern - the lectern.

We need a foreign policy that distinguishes America's friends from her enemies, and recognizes the true threats that we face.

I believe that there is great hope and great potential for every country to be able to live and be protected with inalienable rights that I believe are God-given.
