Historically in every recovery, because the president rightly did inherit a recession. But historically, the lagging indicator always deals with employment.

My plan has all that. It's energy independence. It will help our economy. It's a significant tax cut for corporations, including automatic expensing. It's bringing all those profits home from Europe without any taxation. It's lowering our corporate - or our personal rate to 28 percent, the same rate that Ronald Reagan had.

Ohio does have an energy industry, but we're diversified. We're one of the fastest growing states in the country. We came back from the dead.

The Democrats, because they believe in socialism, redistribution, forced the banks and financial institutions to make the risky loans.

I'll give President Obama credit that he's dealing with big issues. I've seen administrations come to town and only deal with the little ones. You know, he's confronting a lot of major concerns here, and he's the only president we're going to have for the next four years, so we hope he's got some degree of success.

Why would you expect people who don't know any history to be able to report on history? Why would you expect people who are shallow and report only today's exciting story, to be followed by tomorrow's exciting story, to have any sense of depth or any sense of background?

I think my father would give me the Department of the Interior because of my love of the outdoors, so we can get that going.
