I don’t feel like a gay icon. I don’t feel like an icon at all. Every single interview was always, ‘What’s it like to play a gay character?’ It would be nice if I was never asked that again. Why isn’t anyone asking the other girls what it’s like to kiss a boy?

I like to take a day of the week and just sort of have an at-home beauty day. I put on different masks.

I was dating my first boyfriend in high school for a long time, and we broke up before prom. I hadn't met anyone else that I really wanted to go with, and my friends have always been amazing. So I went with my friends and got a million photos with them!

I did shoot a movie called 'Mother's Day', and I really can't wait for everybody to see that. I had so much fun shooting that with Jennifer Aniston, which was kind of surreal in itself.

My mom grew up in the Philippines, and she would use coconut oil. I put that in my hair always - literally, natural coconut oil that you use for cooking. I use that for my cuticles and dry spots on my skin too.

I like to layer when I fly - the climate always changes from the airport to the plane to the new city.

I would never feel comfortable doing my own makeup for a party or a big event, that's for sure. I'm really good at doing it to go to the grocery store.
