My parents died a long time ago. And you know the sad thing? I still miss them every day. I spent my entire youth fighting with my dad over every little thing and damned if I wouldnโt sell my soul to see him one more time and tell him I was sorry for the last words I said to him. Words I can never take back that should have never been said. So call your mom. No matter what kind of relationship you have with your parents, I swear to you, youโll miss them when theyโre gone. (Kyrian)
Sherrilyn KenyonUnfortunately, I saw a side of humanity I wish I'd remained blissfully ignorant of, including one driver who threw a bottle at me while I was walking my baby to the doctor on the side of the road and yelled out insults. Nurses who made nasty comments about how I should get a job (I was working two of them, in addition to being a published author). It wasn't that I didn't have a job and wasn't working. The jobs in backwoods Mississippi didn't pay enough to cover living expenses.
Sherrilyn KenyonYou look so out of your element. (Savitar) I am out of my element. Much like you in a Seattle Goth club. (Acheron) Iโm never out of my element, Atlantean. And it must be dire indeed to get you in shorties, and on a board. One day Iโm actually going to get you to say โRad four-mill steamer, dude! (Savitar)
Sherrilyn KenyonCall me Buffy. Iโm even blond, but donโt ask me to wear a halter top. Or corset.
