It’s important to have relationships with the people at the archives.

I was not allowed to be an individual. I was black and I was a woman - and I was a black woman.

I realized that part of that anger was because I didn't know who I was and where I came from. I didn't know my history.

I'm not saying we all have to love each other. I'm not saying we all have to agree with each other. I'm not even saying we have to like each other but let's respect each other.
