You must every day make higher ground. You must deny yourself to make progress with God. You must refuse every- thing that is not pure and holy. God wants you pure in heart. He wants you to have an intense desire after holiness... Two things will get you to leap out of yourselves into the promises of God today. One is purity, and the other is FAITH, which is kindled more and more BY PURITY.

The devil will endeavor to fascinate through the eyes and through the mind.

People could be built far greater in the Lord and be more wonderfully established if they would move out sometimes and think over the graces of the Lord.

If it is in the Bible, it is so. It's not even to be prayed about. It's to be received and acted upon. Inactivity is a robber which steals blessings. Increase comes by action, by using what we have and know. Your life must be one of going on from faith to faith.

One man in a meeting, filled with unbelief, can make a place for the devil to have a seat.

Perfect love will never want the preeminence in everything, it will never want to take the place of another, it will always be willing to take the back seat.
