I like to have a much greater base and know a lot more about my character before I begin to fill the person. So a lot of it really entails sit-downs with them, determining who she is, where she came from, and why she reacts a certain way, and then I was really able to expand upon a lot of that and create a lot of that story on my own.
Sophia BushI think it's easy for people to assume that fame is equal to glory, but it can be a very isolating experience.
Sophia BushI'm not much of a revenge person, because I think when you start with revenge it cheapens what you've been through. My rule is to hold your head high and never stop looking that person in the eye, because they know and you know, and you're still the professional. And they can just feel like an ass for the rest of their lives. That's my favorite thing to do.
Sophia BushWhy do people think that it's appropriate to talk to me about my body? Why do men think it's appropriate to literally write comments that not only I will see but that the world will see about my breast size, the clothes I should be taking off, the kinds of things they want to see more of on Instagram, which all refer to my body. And that's not even getting into the threats of violence. And they come every day. They come every day. And it's wild to me that people think this stuff is appropriate.
Sophia BushI'm not going to dinner with somebody who eats like a bird, nor do I want to eat like a bird. But its weird: In our business, I'm a size 2 and considered curvy. Its important to remind young women, 'Listen, even skinny girls have cellulite, even Halle Berry has cellulite, and what you see in photos isn't totally real.'
