Consciousness is an attribute while awareness is not; one can be aware of being conscious, but not conscious of awareness. God is the totality of consciousness, but awareness is beyond all--being as well as not-being.

All separation, every kind of estrangement and alienation is false. All is one.

Know yourself to be the changeless witness of the changeful mind. That is enough.

I am that by which I know 'I am'

When I look beyond the mind, I see the witness. Beyond the witness, there is infinite intensity of emptiness and silence.

Even for a moment do not think that you are the body. Give yourself no name, no shape. In the darkness and the silence reality is found.

Leave your mind alone, that is all. Do not go along with it. After all, there is no such thing as mind apart from thoughts which come and go obeying their own laws, not yours. They dominate you only because you are interested in them.
