The thing about smart people is that they seem like crazy people to dumb people.

So long as the Universe had a beginning, we could suppose it had a creator. But if the Universe is really completely self-contained, it would have neither beginning or end, it would simply be. What place then for a creator?

There is a real danger that computers will develop intelligence and take over.

Everyone can enjoy a life of luxurious leisure if the machine-produced wealth is shared, or most people can end up miserably poor if the machine-owners successfully lobby against wealth redistribution.

I have to speak through a computer... in my mind, I am free. Free to explore the universe and ask the big questions...
