First Corinthians so clearly says that whether we eat or drink, do it all to the glory of God. It's not just self. Jesus said ... in Matthew 16, 'Deny yourself, take up your cross and follow Me.' The Osteens have just inverted that. They think it's not the denial of self, but the exaltation of self. They're not trying to pursue a cross; they're trying to pursue prosperity. And they're certainly not following the biblical Jesus. They're following whatever brings happiness and contentment.

When a pastor continually makes light of the character of our Lord by speaking in scatological tones about the Son of Man's bodily functions in incarnation or wearing T-Shirts that rather mock the King of Righteousness rather than glorify Him, then something is terribly awry.

We are great sinners; Jesus is a greater Savior!

Gay marriage within mainline denominations is gaining traction. Skewed pastors and even the government can't trump the Bible on this issue. Pastors: stand!

Jesus was treated on the cross as if He lived our life, so by grace we could be treated as if we lived His life. Hallelujah what a Savior!

We are saved by grace, through faith in Christ alone! And since there is no room for human merit there can be no grounds for human boasting!
