Football players are busy (with) study halls and tutoring. Well, anyway, at South Carolina they are. I don't know about all these other schools.

But as coaches, we need to get a little more fire and passion and be more demanding that our guys get the job done. I think players will respond to that, and we'll see.

I do get away maybe a little bit more than most coaches do, but that seems to have worked for me in my coaching career. I recommended the way not to get burned out from your job is to have some hobbies and get away from it when you can.

All I can say is that I'm going to try to coach the way I've coached in the past. And if it ends up not being good enough, then so be it.

But the real tragedy was that 15 hadn't been colored yet.

Coaching to me is correcting mistakes and trying to get your players to think. If raising your voice occasionally gets them to think better, then that's called coaching.

So I don't really believe that how many years you've had in the league determines how well your players play... Coaching is coaching.
