The minute I start being afraid of what people might say is the minute I become useless to God.

Living your problems and loving them like locked rooms is much different from denying them or capitulating to them. It is believing that God is with you in the imperfect, even disappointing circumstances of your life. It is saying to Him with faith in your heart.

Seize God’s vision. Activate your faith. Make your move.

Great moves of God are usually preceded by simple acts of obedience.

Stop waiting for what you want, and start working what you've got. Your greatest limitation is God's greatest opportunity.

But Jesus wanted the crowd to know, look, 'John's (the baptist) the one who got this whole thing started.' In verse ten He says, 'This is the one about whom it is written, 'I'll send my messenger ahead of you who will prepare Your way before You.' Jesus says, 'If it wasn't for John, I wouldn't even be here performing these miracles.'

You may be living under the illusion that when God ignites great things in your life, He'll announce it with a big bang. He might. It's more likely that He won't. So stop waiting around for the big bang. Pay attention to the subtle clues and the still, small voice. God lives in that place too.
