God, show me how to pray in a way that will make a difference in this child’s life.

There’s only one power in the world great enough to help us rise above the difficult things we face: the power of God.

God wants to bless us in many ways that require faith. We must trust that He is answering our prayers even when we can’t see it.

I know several couples who experienced adultery in their marriages, but because in each case there was a wife who was willing to pray and a husband open to allowing God to change and restore him, the marriages are still intact and successful today. Only prayer, a submitted heart, and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit can work those kinds of miracles.

We will never be happy until we make God the source of our fulfillment and the answer to our longings. He is the only one who should have power over our souls.

It’s in those private times that we are refreshed, strengthened, and rejuvenated. It’s then we can see our lives from God’s perspective and discover what is really important. That’s where we understand who it is we belong to and believe in.
