The moment you think creed and form and ceremony the "be-all" and "end-all", then you are in bondage. Take part in them to help others, but take care they do not become a bondage.

Work and worship are necessary to take away the veil, to lift off the bondage and illusion.

To be unselfish, perfectly selfless, is salvation itself; for the man within dies, and God alone remains.

We must become free. We are free; the work is to know it. We must give up all slavery, all bondage of whatever kind. We must not only give up our bondage to earth and everything and everybody on earth, but also to all ideas of heaven and happiness.

God is very merciful to those whom He sees struggling heart and soul for spiritual realization. But remain idle, without any struggle, and you will see that His grace will never come.

According to the history of human progress, it is disobedience to nature that has constituted that progress.

Man, therefore, according to the Vedanta philosophy, is the greatest being that is in the universe.
