These tremendous contradictions in our intellect, in our knowledge, yea, in all the facts of our life face us on all sides.

Whatever had form or shape must be limited, and could not be eternal.

Change is always subjective. All through evolution you find that the conquest of nature comes by change in the subject. Apply this to religion and morality, and you will find that the conquest of evil comes by the change in the subjective alone. That is how the Advaitic system gets its whole force, on the subjective side of man.

The greatest sin is to think that you are weak. No one is greater: realize that you are Brahman. Nothing has power except what you give it.

Man is to become divine by realizing the divine. Idols or temples, or churches or books, are only the supports, the help of his spiritual childhood.

What makes a man stand up and work? Strength. Strength is goodness, weakness is sin.
