Ever since I was a little kid I've been so glad to be from America and so glad to live here.

As I grow up, the lessons I learn in love and relationships and how we treat each other are hopefully maturing - hopefully.

I have so many indie bands on my iPod. What I don't really understand is the attitude that if a band is unknown, they're good, and if they get fans, then you move on to the next band.

It's alright, just wait and see, your string of lights is still bright to me. Who you are is not where you've been. You're still an innocent. It's okay life is a tough crowd, 32 is still growing up now.

All you need to do to be my friend is like me.

I do not need some guy around in order to get inspiration, in order to make a great record, in order to live my life, in order to feel okay about myself. And I wanted to show my fans the same thing.

If you're trying too hard to be the girl next door, you're not going to be.
